OUR STORY

Below is a brief overview of our company history:
- November 9, 2007 – Acxiom Corporation, a global leader in customer information management and technology, acquired MKTG Services.
- December 10, 2002 – CBC Companies, the 4th largest credit reporting agency in the U.S., acquired MKTG Services’ direct marketing operations, based in New York, Philadelphia and Boston.
- April 1, 2002 – MSGi Direct changed its name to MKTG Services, Inc. in order to more accurately reflect its broad range of traditional direct marketing and new media services.
- October 30, 2001 – MSGi Direct expanded its Media & Entertainment division product line to help music companies, broadcast groups, film studios, publishers, sports organizations, consumer/leisure groups and financial services companies to build stronger relationships with their customers.
- May 1, 2000 – MSGI changes its name to MSGi Direct, signifying its position as a total solutions provider in the direct marketing industry.
- April 3, 2000 – MSGI acquired The Coolidge Company, a direct marketing firm with over 40 years of experience in the publishing and fundraising markets.
- May 13, 1999 – MSGI acquired CMG Direct, a division of CMGI (currently our “Boston” office). This acquisition allowed MSGI to strengthen its database marketing and Internet capabilities, as well as gain entrance into the lucrative education market.
- January 22, 1999 – MSGI acquired Stevens-Knox & Associates (SKA). Founded in 1972, SKA provided MSGI with entrance into the ethnic and international markets, as well as strengthened its position in the catalog, publishing and B-to-B markets.
- December 1, 1997 – MSGI acquired Media Marketplace, Inc. (currently our “Philadelphia” office). Founded in 1971, MMI provided a national presence in list management, list brokerage, publisher’s representation and media planning/buying. Additionally, MSGI was able to expand its client base to include key publishing houses and not-for-profit organizations.
- June 30, 1997 – All-Comm renamed Marketing Services Group, Inc. (MSGI)
- October 9, 1996 – Metro Direct acquired by All-Comm.
- 1987 – Metro Direct founded as a regional direct marketing company. Metro Direct was twice named to Inc. magazine’s list of the 500 fastest growing private companies in America.
